My file server had developed an intermittent noise that turned out to be the Power Supply fan. Ordered this one (somehow not realizing that there were multiple lower-cost options) and received It quickly and well-packaged from Colorado. Took It and the Computer to a local shop, where the tech found signs that the unit was actually used. When he installed it, It turned out not to work.
Two stars rather than one because all I really needed was the fan and the tech had no problem replacing the fan in my original Power Supply with the one that came with this. But what an expensive fan It turned out to be!
I should also be clear that I did not try to contact the seller and have no reason to doubt that they would have made things right. I was just in a situation where the Computer was on the bench, we had the part we needed to make It quiet again and It was worth It to me to just get the repair done.
